Highland and Lowland Brigade's Club – Members Lunch 2025

1.        Introduction.  The Highland and Lowland Brigades' Club will hold a members lunch on Thu 16 Oct 25 at The Royal Scots Club, Abercromby Place,Edinburgh, EH3 6QE.

2.        Format.  Welcome drinks commence at 1230hrs with lunch at 1300hrs.  Lunch will consist of three courses: smoked salmon pate, roast beef, cheese and biscuits followed by coffee and mints. Soft drinks / half a bottle of wine per person will accompany the lunch. A cash bar will be available for any additional drink requirements both pre / during and post the meal. Dress code is smart casual.

3.        Cost.  The cost of the lunch is £60 per head.  However, the lunch will be subsidised by the HLBC (£20) therefore the actual cost to members attending will be £40 per head.

4.        Attendance and Payment.  HLBC members wishing to attend should complete the form at the link / QR code below stating any dietary requirements and if you would like to sit with anyone in particular.  Once you submit the form you will then receive an email with a link to payment.  Open the link, follow the instructions and ensure you change the payment reference from SCOTS TRUST to “HLBC and the first four letters of your surname” i.e“HLBCTINK”.  Receipt of payment will confirm your attendance.  The closing date for booking is Fri 19 Sep 25.

5.        Summary.   This is the first HLBC social function for some time and I hope as many members as possible will be able to attend.  If this social event is deemed a success then we will look to add further events in the calendar with the option to invite guests as appropriate.
