New Baldrics for 2, 3, and 4 SCOTS Drums Majors

A Proud Tradition Renewed: New Baldrics for 2, 3, and 4 SCOTS Drums Majors
The Drums Majors of 2 SCOTS, 3 SCOTS, and 4 SCOTS have proudly received their brand-new Royal Regiment of Scotland baldrics. Beautifully crafted with intricate detailing and featuring the Regimental crest, these baldrics are a striking addition to their ceremonial dress and a fitting reflection of the pride we all share in the Regiment.
The new baldrics made their debut at this year’s Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo, where the Pipes and Drums of 2, 3, and 4 SCOTS performed to audiences from around the world. Against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, their stirring performances and immaculate presentation provided the perfect stage to showcase these new additions to their uniform.
For centuries, the Pipes and Drums have been at the heart of Regimental life, inspiring troops on the battlefield, marking key ceremonial occasions, and representing the Regiment with distinction both at home and abroad. The introduction of these new baldrics serves as a reminder of the Regiment’s commitment to upholding its traditions while embracing the future.
