SCOTS and Musselburgh Racecourse Announce Partnership for 2026
The Royal Regiment of Scotland is proud to become Musselburgh Racecourse’s Official Community Partner for 2026.
This partnership builds on a relationship spanning more than 25 years and comes as both organisations prepare for milestone anniversaries – SCOTS marking 20 years of service and Musselburgh celebrating its 20th year as one of Scotland’s leading racecourses.
Throughout 2026, the partnership will support community-focused activity, including fundraising for the SCOTS Heritage Appeal and hosting regimental events at the racecourse. Visitors can also look forward to appearances from Corporal Cruachan IV and a full performance by the SCOTS Pipes and Drums at Oktoberfest Raceday in September.
Head of Engagement for The Royal Regiment of Scotland, Brigadier Ben Wrench, said “We are delighted to formally recognise the partnership between SCOTS and Musselburgh Racecourse as we enter into our 20th year. The racecourse is a place for comradeship between serving soldiers, veterans and their families, building on the cohesion and enjoyment generated from previous race days, enjoyed by our antecedents."
