The SCOTS on exercise in the Scottish Highlands
New SCOTS Association Branch Standards
25/10/2023

The Royal Regiment of Scotland(SCOTS) Association is not just for Veterans, it’s for serving Soldiers and Officers too.

On Thursday 19th October 2023 each branch of the SCOTS Association sent a representative to Edinburgh Castle to collect their new Branch Standard. This marks a significant move forward for the SCOTS Associations which will continue to grow, with your help.

In total, there are 11 branches of the SCOTS Association. Currently, there are four Veterans branches: Strathclyde, Highland & Islands, Lothian & Borders, and Grampian. Each SCOTS Battalion is also an Association branch, with the Regimental Sergeant Major as the chair person.

The aim of the SCOTS associations is to bring SCOTS Soldiers and Officers, from the serving and veteran communities, together, to build, maintain and rekindle bonds of friendship.
